Description

1854-O Arrows Dime, MS66
Rare at This Grade Level

1854-O 10C Arrows MS66 NGC. A blush of light golden toning visits this otherwise frost-white Premium Gem, although many would consider the piece to be brilliant. The strike is intricate aside from the right-obverse denticles, and the surfaces are void of bothersome abrasions. New Orleans only struck Arrows dimes in 1853 and 1854, and the mintages were significantly smaller than those of their Philadelphia counterparts. Census: 6 in 66, 4 finer (6/14).
