1856 Large Date Dime, Colorful MS65
1856 10C Large Date MS65 NGC. An immensely lustrous Large
Date Gem with captivating patina. The obverse is pale blue at the
margins, particularly the lower and right obverse, with a fade to
azure, a small peach core, and subtle near-horizontal streaks of
silver that are narrow across Liberty's body. On the reverse,
blue-violet edge toning gives way to a broad interior in shades of
peach. Great eye appeal. This is the sole finest Large Date example
specifically certified as that variety by NGC (7/13).(Registry values: P4)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 238T, PCGS# 4610, GSID# 4049)
