1856 10C Small Date MS65 PCGS. CAC. Fortin-103. The date is high in the field and appears to slope up to the right, although careful study shows that the date is actually level. This Gem, housed in a first-generation PCGS holder, has frosty silver luster with bold central details and slight peripheral weakness. The obverse has faint champagne toning and the reverse has richer gold toning. Population: 20 in 65, 5 finer (9/11).(Registry values: N2998)
