Exquisite Near-Gem 1856-O Dime
1856-O 10C MS64 NGC. Fortin-101. Large O. Deep forest-green and plum-red fill the obverse margin, while Liberty and the field are mostly untoned. The reverse is brilliant save for a slender peripheral band of light sun-gold and aquamarine. Boldly struck, lustrous, and pleasing.
