Description

1857 Seated Dime, MS66+
Lustrous and High-End for the Grade

1857 10C F-102, R.3, MS66+ PCGS Secure. A thin die line on Liberty's knee and the position of the date numerals identify this variety. The 1857 Seated dime in MS66 is a genuine condition rarity, and finer pieces are virtually uncollectible. This Plus-designated coin displays brilliant, softly frosted luster and unabraded surfaces. Some strike weakness is noted on Liberty's temple but it is minor. Eye appeal is outstanding. Population: 10 in 66 (3 in 66+), 1 finer (9/18).
