Pleasing Gem 1857-O Dime

1857-O 10C MS65 PCGS. CAC. Large O. Similar to Fortin-102, but no die crack is present between stars 5 and 7. A blush of honey toning graces the upper reverse, while the obverse is nearly brilliant. Well struck save for dentils near the date and STATES OF. Exquisite for the grade despite delicate marks beneath the M in DIME. An available date in worn grades, but very scarce in Mint State, and rare as a Gem. Population: 9 in 65, 9 finer (11/07).(Registry values: N2998)
