1858-S 10C AU55 PCGS. Fortin-101. The 1858-S is a scarce
dime with a mintage of only 60,000 pieces. Most circulated
extensively across the West Coast, and few are known today above
VF. This is a darkly toned AU that shows minimal signs of friction
from handling. Sharply struck throughout. Population: 4 in 55, 9
