Description

1858-S 10C XF40 PCGS. A lightly worn example of this scarce, low-mintage date, surviving from a production of just 60,000 coins. Small change was in short supply on the West coast at the time, and the entire production run entered circulation. This survivor has deep gray patina with traces of luster. Population: 7 in 40, 24 finer (6/13).(Registry values: N991)
