1860 10C MS65 NGC. In 1860 the design of the dime was slightly altered, and this first-year type is seldom encountered in high Uncirculated grades. There are a couple of light handling marks on this handsome Gem, but none are particularly detracting. A brilliant and lustrous piece with pronounced clashmarks on the reverse. Census: 17 in 65, 12 finer (7/08).(Registry values: N1793)
