1861-S 10C MS61 NGC. Medium lilac, olive, and apricot shades blanket this Uncirculated Civil War dime. The obverse field has wispy marks, and the customary portion of the cereal grains lack a full strike. There were few coin collectors in the Old West, and most survivors of this issue are in well circulated grades. Census: 5 in 61, 3 finer (9/09).(Registry values: N1793)
