1864-S 10C MS64+ PCGS Secure. CAC. Ex: Simpson. The 1864-S
Seated Liberty dime enjoyed a mintage of 230,000 pieces, making it
the most available of the popular Civil War issues. The date is
still extremely rare at the Choice Mint State level. The present
coin exhibits sharp details throughout, except for slight softness
on the bow knot, and the satiny mint luster is most attractive. The
high-end status of this coin is confirmed by the plus designation.
