1865 10C MS66 PCGS. CAC. Fortin-101a. Due to Gresham's Law and unbacked fractional currency, just 10,000 dimes were struck in 1865, the final year of the Civil War. Peach-red patina endows the borders of this semiprooflike and undisturbed Premium Gem. The strike is precise aside from blending on the lower left portion of the wreath. In an old green label holder. Population: 4 in 66, 4 finer (3/14).
