1867 10C --Improperly Cleaned--NCS. VF Details. Cream-gray and sea-green toning envelops this rare date dime, which has a bold LIBERTY and subdued hairlines on the obverse field. A scant 6,000 pieces were struck, since fractional currency under Gresham's Law removed silver coinage from circulation.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 239U, PCGS# 4645, GSID# 4060)
