Excellent Surface Quality

1869 10C F-105a, R.4, MS66 NGC. The 1869 Seated dime is rare in all Mint State grades but is particularly sought-after in Gem and finer condition. This Premium Gem example displays undisturbed, satiny luster shining through shades of lavender-gray, aquamarine, and mint-gold toning. The upper-left portion of the wreath is not fully struck, but the obverse figure is incredibly bold. Census: 2 in 66, 4 finer (11/15).
