of lowest mintage San Francisco Seated dime issue goes to the
1870-S, which has a production of just 50,000 pieces. By
comparison, the 1870-S half dollar mintage exceeded one million
pieces. Needless to say, 1870-S dime Gems are rare and desirable.
This lustrous coin shows glimmers of autumn-gold toning. Minor
