Gorgeous 1870-S Seated Dime, MS66

1870-S 10C MS66 PCGS Secure. CAC. Like so many San Francisco Seated dimes, the 1870-S is an important condition rarity with an average certified grade of just over XF40. This Premium Gem is far finer, and it is one of three coins tied for the finest that PCGS has certified (8/10). Both sides are highly lustrous and sharply defined with light champagne toning over brilliant silver surfaces. Gerry Fortin discusses a small hoard of Mint State coins, but they must have all been in lower numerical grades. Here is an incredible opportunity for the advanced Seated dime collector to obtain one of the finest certified pieces.
