VF Sharpness 1871-CC Seated Dime

1871-CC 10C --Improperly Cleaned--NCS. VF Details. This piece has the details of a Very Fine coin with subdued luster over the grayish-pink surfaces, indicative of a past cleaning. There a few other distractions and certainly no singular abrasions, although an off-color planchet lamination runs downward from before Liberty's head onto her shoulder and left (facing) arm. As one of the rare keys to the Seated dime series and an issue that is extremely rare in Mint State, this piece should see spirited bidding at the auction.(Registry values: N2998)
