1872 10C MS68 NGC. For the type set enthusiast or date set collector who demands the best possible grade, coins beyond MS67 offer a worthy challenge. In the Liberty Seated dime series, exactly two coins have been certified as MS69, according to NGC's Census Report; coincidentally, each of those coins is an Arrows piece, the first from 1853 and the second from 1874.For non-Arrows examples, this MS68 representative is the acme of desirability; it is also the lone finest example of its issue known to NGC (5/08). Razor-sharp devices and delightfully frosty fields invite close examination, but even under magnification, the gold-kissed silver-white surfaces show only the most trivial of flaws.
