Description

1872-S 10C MS63 NGC. A formidable example from a technical standpoint, since only the faintest slide marks are present. The luster is especially vivacious on the reverse. The strike is uneven, with softness on the left corner of the rock and on the corresponding upper left area of the wreath. Rare in Mint State, courtesy of a low mintage of 190,000 pieces. Census: 3 in 63, 1 finer (11/05).(Registry values: N1793)
