Incredible 1873 Doubled Die Dime, AU58

1873 10C Arrows Doubled Die Obverse AU58 PCGS Secure. In our July 2010 Summer FUN auction, we offered a VF35 example that was the first 1873 Doubled Die obverse dime to appear in any auction sale, regardless of the firm. That coin realized $2,875 in spirited competition. And now along comes a remarkable near-Mint representative, destined to bring an amazing price. This example has deep olive-gold toning over lustrous and slightly reflective surfaces.
