Description

1874 Seated Liberty Dime, MS67
Rich Toning

1874 10C Arrows MS67 PCGS. Fortin-107. More than 2.9 million Seated Liberty dimes were struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1874, and the issue is not difficult to locate in absolute terms. However, the 1874 is a condition rarity at the MS67 grade level. In addition, the 1874 is always in demand as a representative of the short-lived Arrows design. This attractive Superb Gem exhibits well-detailed design elements, with just a touch of the usual softness on Liberty's head. The impeccably preserved surfaces are blanketed in mingled shades of golden-brown and lavender toning, with frosty mint luster underneath. Population: 7 in 67 (2 in 67+), 3 finer (5/15).(Registry values: N1)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23BK, PCGS# 4668, Greysheet# 4070)
