    1874-CC Arrows Dime, VG10
    Key Issue to the Series

1874-CC 10C Arrows VG10 PCGS. The 1874-CC Arrows dime issue's mintage is given as 10,817 pieces both in The Mint on Carson Street and the current 2013 Guide Book. All known examples of the 1874-CC dime were produced from the same die pair, showing the arrows slanting up noticeably on either side of the date. The reverse has a diagnostic die crack through the CC mintmark, with the second C placed higher in the die than the first. This well-worn example shows an even wear pattern over each side. More important are the problem-free, uncleaned surfaces. Pale gray patina appears over each side with a slight undertone of reddish color.
