Description

1875 Seated Dime, MS67
High-End Type Coin

1875 10C MS67 NGC. F-120. The 1875 Seated dime is a common date in most grades, but this semiprooflike MS67 must be viewed in the context of its grade -- all issues combined, Superb Gems from the 1870s are scarce. This high-end type coin boasts exceptional preservation, showing warm sun-gold toning overall with occasional splashes of ocean-blue and violet around the borders. Inadequate die pressure leaves Liberty's head and the corresponding reverse wreath bow ill-defined, but the overall appeal is unhindered. Census: 10 in 67 (1 in 67 , 1 in 67+ ), 0 finer (9/15).(Registry values: N1)
