Description

Delightful MS66 1876-CC Dime

1876-CC 10C MS66 PCGS Secure. CAC. Mahogany-red and sea-green embrace this lustrous and immaculate Premium Gem. The strike is sharp, and the eye appeal is exquisite.
Many 1876-CC dimes, including the present piece, exhibit prominently die doubling on the Es in ONE DIME. This is caused by the use of two different subtype reverse hubs. The working reverse die was hubbed first by a Type One Reverse, and then by a Type Two Reverse.
