Description
Highly Lustrous MS66 1877-CC Dime
1877-CC 10C MS66 NGC. Type Two Reverse with E in ONE further from the wreath. Struck from an ample mintage of 7.7 million pieces, thus qualifying the 1877-CC as a Carson City type coin. This is a fabulous example that is brilliant throughout. Both sides display heavy metal flow, most likely from being struck from an extensively used die pairing. Peripheral die cracks around the obverse confirm this as well. The devices are sharply defined in all areas and there are no noticeable abrasions on either side. Census: 36 in 66, 12 finer (4/09).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23AM, PCGS# 4683, GSID# 4135)
