1878-CC 10C MS64 NGC. Unlike in 1877, when millions of Carson City dimes were struck, the 1878-CC dimes were struck largely around the Morgan dollars, with much reduced mintages as a result. Green-gold and blue patina covers much of this luminous piece, and the reverse adds a splash of peach. Census: 18 in 64, 14 finer (11/11).(Registry values: N1793)
