Gem 1878-CC Dime With Rare Type One Reverse
1878-CC 10C MS65 NGC. Type One reverse (Very Rare). E in ONE nearly touches wreath. The last dime issued from the Carson City Mint, and a low mintage issue of only 200,000 pieces. Richly toned in shades of rose-gray and cobalt-blue. The design elements are boldly struck, and multiple die clash marks are easily noticeable in the right obverse field, as well as on the reverse.
