Gem 1878-CC Dime With Rare Type One Reverse

1878-CC 10C MS65 NGC. Type One reverse (Very Rare). E in ONE nearly touches wreath. The last dime issued from the Carson City Mint, and a low mintage issue of only 200,000 pieces. Richly toned in shades of rose-gray and cobalt-blue. The design elements are boldly struck, and multiple die clash marks are easily noticeable in the right obverse field, as well as on the reverse. Impressively preserved and free of post-strike abrasions.(Registry values: N2998)
