Beautifully Toned and Well-Preserved

1880 10C MS67 NGC. Fortin-102a, R.4. The repunched 8 and broken 80 in the date confirm the Fortin-102a variety. Orange-toned centers turn outwardly in concentric fashion to magenta and ice-blue over the obverse, while the reverse exhibits similar colors mottled with splashes of brilliance. Luster radiates throughout, and the devices are sharply detailed. Census: 12 in 67 (1 in 67 ), 4 finer (7/14).(Registry values: N1)
