1882 10C MS67 NGC. Although the Philadelphia mint ratcheted up production of Seated dimes to more than 3.9 million pieces in 1882 and hundreds of pieces were subsequently spared from circulation, the presently offered Superb Gem is still a coin of outstanding quality. Both sides display an intense satiny-white sheen and only a few modest signs of contact can be noticed on the obverse. Census: 25 in 67, 2 finer (6/07). (Registry values: N2998)
