Description

1882 Seated Dime, MS67
Fortin-110, None Finer at PCGS

1882 10C MS67 PCGS. CAC. Fortin-110, R.2. Aquamarine and orange-gold tones vie for attention across the sharply lustrous surfaces of this Superb Gem dime. The slightest movement of eye or hand causes the cartwheel sheen to roll across the surfaces, which show virtually no marks or weakness of strike other than the central reverse, which is diagnostic of the variety. A small spot of deeper tone is seen by the reverse denticles at 7 o'clock. Population: 20 in 67, 0 finer (7/14).(Registry values: N2998)
