Description

1887 10C MS67 NGC. Fortin-115, R.4. Boldly clashed dies, as is diagnostic of this variety. As a date, the 1887 dime is readily available in grades through MS66, but it becomes genuinely rare at the Superb Gem level. This piece is beautifully preserved with traces of light golden color over vibrant, frosty luster. A sharp strike completes the immense visual appeal. Census: 4 in 67, 2 finer (10/14).(Registry values: N2998)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23B5, PCGS# 4698, Greysheet# 4083)
