Important 1888-S Dime, MS65
1888-S 10C MS65 PCGS. This gorgeous Gem has deep magenta and sea-green toning with splashes of lighter gold color. The surfaces are frosty and highly lustrous with the luster shining through from beneath the toning in an impressive and highly pleasing manner. Examples of this date in the highest grades are seldom seen. Although PCGS has certified 35 Mint State 1888-S dimes, only nine have been graded MS65 with just one finer MS66 (6/07).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23B8, PCGS# 4701, Greysheet# 4142)
