Description

Pleasant 1889 Ten Cent, MS67

1889 10C MS67 NGC. The silver-white surfaces of this Superb Gem yield a pleasant frosty sheen on both sides, and a well executed strike sharpens the design motifs, save for the typical minor softness in the hair on top of Liberty's head and on the bow knot. A few light ticks are undistracting. The 1889 is a common date, but becomes elusive in the lofty grade of MS67. Census: 9 in 67, 0 finer (9/09).(Registry values: N2998)
