    Description

    1863 Seated Liberty Dime, PR66
    Rare Cameo Example

1863 10C F-101, R.4, PR66 Cameo PCGS. Only 460 proof Seated Liberty dimes were struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1863 and few survivors can match the quality and eye appeal of this delightful Premium Gem. This coin exhibits sharply detailed design elements and deeply mirrored fields that contrast boldly with the frosty devices. The well-preserved brilliant surfaces show diagonal die lines in the reverse field and a tiny lintmark on the obverse, between Liberty's head and cap. Population: 10 in 66 (1 in 66+) Cameo, 1 finer (12/19). (NGC ID# 23BS, Variety PCGS# 539011, Base PCGS# 4756)

    Weight: 2.49 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
