Desirable 1843 Seated Dollar, MS64
1843 $1 MS64 NGC. A relatively common coin in lower circulated grades but difficult to locate in the better grades of Mint State. In fact, the 1843 Seated dollar is highly elusive in any Uncirculated grade, and this Choice piece is tied for numerically finest in the combined certified population (1/09). This frosted, highly lustrous example has just a hint of natural patina circling the rims on each side.
