1844 $1 AU58 Prooflike ANACS. Light orange-gold and ocean-blue toning visits the borders. A flashy and nicely struck example. The usual 1844 business strike dies with strong die doubling on Liberty's shield and heavy die polish lines beneath the eagle's wings.
