Description

1845 Seated Dollar, MS61
Rare in Mint Condition

1845 $1 MS61 NGC. The 1845 is exceedingly rare in Mint State, and none have been certified higher than MS64. Soft ice-blue and gold -beige patina dominates both sides of this semiprooflike MS61 example, each of which displays lavender and orange accents. Well struck except for weak centrils in the right-border stars. Light handling marks limit the grade. Census: 7 in 61, 8 finer (4/10).(Registry values: N4719)
