OC-1, Lower-Mintage Date
1848 $1 OC-1, R.2, AU58 NGC. The 1848 is a better date due
to a scant emission of 15,000 pieces. This pearl-gray silver dollar
offers hints of tan toning near the rims. No marks are of
individual relevance, and luster abounds across the attractive
surfaces. A few stars lack a complete strike. NGC Census: 20 in 58,
