1854 $1 MS63 ANACS. The 1854 dollar, with a circulation strike mintage of 33,140 coins, is a prime rarity in all grades, as most were apparently exported (David Bowers, 2006). Golden-tan patination on this Select example is accented with hints of blue and lavender, and covers lustrous surfaces.
