1855 $1 MS61 Prooflike NGC. Boldly struck and minimally toned with highly reflective fields that show faint, grade-limiting abrasions. This is a scarce low-mintage issue that is rare in Mint State, especially with Prooflike fields. In fact, as of (5/10), the present lot is the sole example certified as Prooflike by either major grading service.Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 5/2008), lot 912, which realized $9,200.(Registry values: N4719)
