Scarce AU55 1859-S Dollar
1859-S $1 AU55 NGC. The 1859-S dollar is fairly scarce, and usually found in Very Fine and Extremely Fine grades. About Uncirculated pieces are scarce, and Mint State coins are rare. Light to medium bluish-gray patina visits the surfaces of this Choice AU example that displays traces of luster in the recesses. Nicely struck and lightly abraded.
