Important 1860 Seated Dollar, MS64
1860 $1 MS64 NGC. For the second year in a row, the Philadelphia Mint produced a sizeable number (217,600 pieces) of Seated Liberty silver dollars in 1860. This issue is seldom encountered in either circulated or Mint State grades. The surfaces on this important coin display soft luster and are deeply toned in steel-gray patina accented with golden hues on each side. The design features are well impressed, and marks are mostly small and well scattered, although several reeding marks appear in the upper reverse field.
