    Description

    1860 Seated Dollar, Vibrant MS64
    Undesignated Prooflike Surfaces

1860 $1 MS64 PCGS Secure. CAC. OC-1. Osburn-Cushing Die Pair 1/1, struck from perfect dies. Ocean-blue and lilac toning embrace this well struck and remarkably prooflike near-Gem Seated dollar. A few minuscule marks are well-scattered and of little relevance in comparison to the sharp strike and vivid coloration. The 1860 is far scarcer in Mint State than its New Orleans counterpart, and Uncirculated examples are demonstrably more elusive than proofs of the same date. Population: 26 in 64, 6 finer. CAC: 6 in 64, 3 finer (9/16).(Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 24Z2, PCGS# 6949)

    Weight: 26.73 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
