Description
1864 $1 XF45 PCGS. This Civil War date has a mintage of only 30,700 pieces. Most were presumably exported, since they had little chance of domestic circulation (except in the far West) prior to the mid-1870s. This stone-gray Choice XF has noticeable luster, particularly within the drapery, plumage, and reverse legends.
