Description

1865 $1 Genuine PCGS. The PCGS number ending in .91 suggests Questionable Color as the reason, or perhaps one of the reasons, that PCGS deemed this coin not gradable. In our opinion, this coin has the details of an Unc specimen that has been cleaned and retoned and shows obverse damage. The obverse is apricot and olive-gray, while the reverse is copper-gold and sea-green. The subdued fields are lightly hairlined and have a few digs near stars 4 and 11 and the eagle's right (facing) wingtip.
