1869 $1 AU55 PCGS. Medium chestnut-gold and lime toning graces this richly detailed Seated dollar. Curious hair-thin lines near the TES in STATES appear to be mint-made. The fields are moderately prooflike, and the date location is identical to that of a Gem proof that appeared as lot 1374 in our 2007 June Long Beach Signature. Certified in an old green label holder.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24ZC, PCGS# 6962, GSID# 7218)
