Description

1869 Silver Dollar, MS63
Attractive Border Toning

1869 $1 Misplaced Date and Repunched Date, FS-301, MS63 ANACS. Die State b/d. The misplaced numeral in the dentils below the 6 is virtually invisible due to die lapping. However, repunching on the bases of the 1 and 8 remains discernible. The reverse is die doubled on IN GOD WE TRUST. This Select coin is sharp and satiny with minimal abrasions. Light golden interiors cede to vivid blue and violet border toning.
