1870-CC $1 AU50 PCGS. Variety 3-A. Close CC, considered rare by Breen. A fully original example with deep gray surfaces and underlying gold and violet iridescence, this piece has only slight wear on the highest design points. Considerable luster remains visible beneath the toning.
