Description

1870-CC Dollar, AU Sharpness
In-Demand First-Year Issue

1870-CC $1 OC-8, High R.4 -- Cleaned -- PCGS Genuine. AU Details. The 1870-CC is the first and least-rare of the four Carson City Seated dollar issues, yet its low 12,462-piece mintage ensures that survivors in any grade are in demand from Old West and Seated dollar collectors. This mostly brilliant example shows a few light abrasions in the obverse fields amid some swirling hairlines, but the cleaning is subtle and wisps of champagne toning add to the eye appeal. About Uncirculated sharpness survives.
