1871 $1 AU58 PCGS. A brilliant and typically struck representative with a smooth reverse and a moderately abraded obverse. The 1871 and 1872 Seated dollars have the highest mintages of the series, but are nonetheless scarce at the Borderline Uncirculated level, since most examples were exported to the Orient and eventually melted.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24ZG, PCGS# 6966, GSID# 7220)
